What do you mean by bleed?
The bleed is printing that extends to the edge of a sheet or page after trimming.

Hows does your quality of print compare to other printers?
Although we are very competitive on price, we don’t believe in selling low cost items that naturally represent low cost quality, for example, flimsy business cards, or flyers with sub-standard print. Create a visual and vibrant brand that will stand out from the crowd with not only great design, but quality print and materials. First impressions last and potential customers are more likely to hang onto a quality printed product for future reference.

Can I get discount if I order more than one product from you?
Yes! we have some fantastic offers bundled together which we have labelled ‘business starter packs’ Although the name implies that these deals are targeted at brand new business, these packages are also ideal for existing and established businesses who are looking to develop or improve their visual impact and/or would like to create an online presence or shopping experience for their existing and potential customers.

What do you mean by laminate finish?
Laminate is thin transparent plastic sheet (coating) applied to usually a thick stock (covers, postcards, etc.) Providing protection against liquid and heavy use.

What is the difference between portrait and landscape?
Portrait is a design where the height is greater than the width – (the opposite of landscape).

Does the FREE ‘file check’ mean you will amend any issues or problems that I may have missed?
Whilst most other printers charge a fee for checking files, it does not include any major amendments. We offer the exact same service but for FREE. We fully appreciate how disappointed you would be if there was an issue or a problem with your file and you had failed to spot the issue and it was printed. This is why our FREE file check is a great service to take advantage of, however, there would be a charge if you wanted us to amend any major issues, but we would always bring any issues to your attention before printing. The FREE file check service does not include proof reading, i.e. checking the grammar, spelling phone numbers or addresses, this is your responsibility. The FREE file check is simply a method of double-checking the technical layout, for example, outlined fonts, crop marks and bleed, it does not guarantee printed colours.

Will the print quality look exactly the same as it does on my screen?
Please note that the colour on your screen is not 100% accurate, in fact, the way a file looks will cary from one screen to another. The colours on a monitor are made up from red, green and blue light, whereas a printer will produce colours in CMYK ink (Cyan, Magenta, yellow and black ink) For the best resiults, please ensure all colours are referenced to a pantone book to achieve the best results. The output press profile we use when sending to print is ISOcoated_V2_eci.icc (This is the industry standard conversion that gives consistent results) – Please see colour profiles when converting your file to PDF

What file formats do you accept? We accept PDF, JPG, EPS and TIFF file formats, ideally PDF format as we charge a small fee for conversion, the charge depends on the file and any alterations and time taken
How long will it take to print my order? Typically around 2 – 4 working days, however, if your in a rush, we can produce work the next day for an extra cost subject to our cut-off time of 2.00pm.
